Expatriates’ gathering held at Sylhet press club

The expatriates have assured all kinds of cooperation to establish an NRB help desk at the Sylhet Press Club and to make the new generation growing up abroad more patriotic. They emphasized on establishing a twinning link between the Sylhet Press Club and the London Bangla Press Club (LBPC) to expand the scope of cooperation.

The expatriates expressed this opinion at a meeting organized at the Aminur Rashid Chowdhury Auditorium of the Sylhet Press Club on Saturday. The meeting was organized with the expatriate community leaders with the aim of establishing an NRB (Non Resident Bangladeshi) Help Desk at the Sylhet Press Club and connecting with the new generation of successful and top talents growing up abroad. The event, chaired by Sylhet Press Club President Muktabis Un Noor and moderated by General Secretary Mohammad Sirajul Islam, took the form of a gathering of expatriates. Bangladesh Caterers Association (BCA) former president Pasha Khandaker MBE, London Bangla Press Club and British Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry director Mohib Chowdhury, Brent Council councilor Parvez Ahmed, UK, Global Jalalabad Association president Md. Muhibur Rahman, Weekly Surma editor Md. Shamsul Alam Liton and more than fifty expatriates participated in it.
