Man killed by nephew in Katiadi

Sr. Staff Reporter, Kishoreganj :

A 60- year old man hacked to death by his nephew over a land dispute at Achamita in katiadi upazila of Kishoreganj on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased identified as Mahamudul Hasan kamal (60) in Achamita of katiadi upazila.
The incident took place near victim’s house on Thursday afternoon . He was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with serious injuries, where duty doctors declared dead.

locals and police said, Jalal Uddin and Mahmudul Hasan Kamal, two sons of the late Haji Khurshid Uddin, had been in a long-standing dispute over ancestral land.
The body was sent to mourge for an autopsy.

Police have arrested Jalal Uddin and his wife in this incident. Accused Saddam Hossain has been absconding since the incident.
