Seminar and Job Fair held

A seminar and job fair, titled “Shariatpur Polytechnic Institute Seminar and Job Fair 2026,” was held in Shariatpur on Thursday, aimed at creating employment opportunities and promoting career development for the younger generation.

The event was organised by Shariatpur Polytechnic Institute with participation from the country’s leading industrial companies, training organisations, and educational consultancy firms.

A total of ten well-known stalls from various sectors of the country took part in the fair.

This was the first event of its kind in Shariatpur, and the institute’s campus was bustling with people from diverse professions.

Organisers said that participants at the fair would have the opportunity to apply directly for jobs in various industrial and service sectors and receive guidance from experienced career consultants.

They expressed hope that the event would serve as a unique platform for youth employment and skill development.

The seminar and job fair were presided over by Principal Engineer Abul Kalam Azad of Shariatpur Polytechnic Institute. Imrul Hasan, Additional District Commissioner of Shariatpur, attended as the chief guest.

Engineer Shyamal Brahma, Managing Director of New Multipurpose Engineering and Industrial Automation, attended as a special guest, along with Babul Kumar Bhattacharya, Academy In-Charge of the Polytechnic Institute.

The programme was hosted by Instructor Engineer Ajit Bachhar of the Polytechnic Institute.
