Case filed against Ranveer for hurting religious sentiments
Actor Ranveer Singh has been widely praised for his Bollywood film ‘Dhurandhar’. However, before he could celebrate, an FIR was filed against the actor for hurting religious sentiments.
Ranveer has been accused of insulting the Chaubhundi divine culture and Hinduism in the coastal region of Karnataka.
A few months ago, at an event in Goa, Ranveer was praising Rishav Shetty’s film ‘Kantara’ on stage. At that time, he was playing the role of Chamunda Devi, who was shown in the film.
The actor even called Chamunda Devi a ‘female ghost’. That’s where the problem started.
