‘Politics should not be a source of earning’

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Vice-chairman and the party’s MP candidate for Kishoreganj-3 (Karimganj- Tarail) constituency Dr. Osman Faruque said those who are in politics should spend their time for the development of people.
Politics should not be a source of earning. Those around me will do politics for the purpose of improving other people.
Former Minister Dr.Osman Faruque said also, an election road meeting at Nanshri Mudir Bazar in Karimganj Upazila on Tuesday night.
He also said, the current interim government has a commitment to organize fair elections. The opinion abroad about Bangladeshi politics is that if proper democracy is not established, the country’s image will be tarnished. So I think the government is moving in the right direction.No effort will be successful without the cooperation of the public.
Therefore, everyone must cooperate for the restoration of democracy in the country, poverty alleviation, and overall development of the people.

Dr. Osman Faruque participated in mass outreach and road meetings in his constituency from morning to evening.
He exchanged greetings with voters at various places including Sadakkhali intersection, Nanshri Sarkarbari intersection, South Nanshri Kadamtali Bazar, Kandail and Mathurapara villages, Baliabari Bazar, and sought votes with rice ears in karimganj ‘s Joyka Union.
About his political life, he said, “I started politics inspired by the ideals of Ziaur Rahman. I could have worked in the World Bank, but I joined politics for the development of the country.
The goal of our party is to improve the lives of all people. Compared to other parties, we are more ahead in the work of the people.”
