Jamaat holds election rally to welcome Dr. Shafiq

Jamaat held a procession welcoming Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman at the election rally of the 11-party alliance at Chauddagram Government Pilot High School ground in Cumilla.

Upazila Jamaat Ameer Mahfuzur Rahman led the procession as the chief guest at Harisardar Bazar on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Tuesday afternoon.

At the end of the procession, Gholpasha Union Jamaat Ameer Kazi Md. Abdul Kader presided over the procession, and Municipal Jamaat Ameer Maulana Ibrahim delivered a special guest speech. Municipal Jamaat Secretary Mosharraf Hossain Opel, Jamaat leader VP Jahangir, Ashraful Islam Liton, Union Jamaat Secretary Ahsan Ullah were present at the time, among others.

Upazila Jamaat Secretary Md. Belal Hossain said that Jamaat Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman will be present as the chief guest at the election rally of the 11-party alliance at the Chauddagram Government Pilot High School ground on Saturday morning, January 31. Comilla-11 constituency candidate and Jamaat Naib-e-Ameer Dr. Syed Abdullah Md. Taher will preside. NCP convener Md. Nahid Islam, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis Ameer Allama Mamunul Haque and Dhaksur VP Sadek Kayem will be present as special guests. Leaders and activists from various wards and centers of the upazila’s thirteen unions including Chauddagram Municipality and a large number of people from all walks of life will be present at the rally.
