Rafi to make a movie on BDR massacre

Director Raihan Rafi has gained fame by making movies and web films based on true events.

Now, he has announced that he is planning to make a film about the BDR massacre.

A total of 74 people, including BDR Director General Major General Shakil Ahmed, were killed in the mutiny that took place in Peelkhana on February 25 and 26, 2009.

The director said, “I really want to make a movie about the BDR massacre. So many soldiers were killed, bodies were found one after another, mass graves were created.

I still don’t fully know what happened inside. When more information is known, I will make a movie about it.”
