Teacher shortage disrupts academic activities

The academic activities have been being hampered in Kushtia Zilla school due shortage of teachers. It is alleged that the classes for the students of class 3 and 5 have become very irregular as the teachers are not available in the school.
One of the students on condition of anonymity of class in morning shift said, the duty of home work for the students at home was not checked regularly by teachers.
That’s why the students have been losing their interest to do their duty.
One of guardians said, I got my son admitted of the district’s to school for better education, but I have been disappointed for this unfortunate event.
There is no gesture of receiving standard level of education for the students in the school in future.
It is alleged that the teachers could not attend the class regularly beforehand and the teacher shortage has aggravated the condition very worse.
When talked to the teacher of morning shift Ms Sabina Yasmin said there is no crisis of teachers and classes are being held as per routine work while the guardians of the school do not like accept her remarks in this connection. There are 49 teachers out of 52 in our school.
We are conducting our classes in alternative way leaving the gap of 3 teachers, said the acting Head master of the school Munshi Quamruzaman. The local people urged the authority concerned to take necessary measure to keep classes continue for the students of the school.
