The much-discussed horror comedy film ‘Bhanupriya Bhooter Hotel’ is going to be released on the big screen. Tollywood sensation Mimi Chakraborty plays
an important role in the film. Although the story of the film involves ghosts, has Mimi ever experienced anything
supernatural in reality?
Recently, she shared an experience from her life while facing an Indian media outlet.
Mimi’s co-star Swastika Dutta hinted at some supernatural happenings during the shoot in North Bengal, but Mimi didn’t sense anything there.
Mimi joked, “Maybe I’m a girl from there (North Bengal), so the ghost left me.”
The incident took place in Istanbul, Turkey, during the shooting of the film ‘Gangster’. Mimi said that she faced a terrifying situation while resting with her tired body.
According to her, “I felt like I couldn’t breathe. My hands and feet were all cold, I couldn’t move. At first I thought it might be sleep paralysis. But my brain was working.”
Describing the thrilling night, Mimi also said, “I could clearly feel someone walking around my bed. I could feel their cold breath from my neck to my eyes. It was as if someone was trying to force my eyes open. I was sweating profusely with fear.”
She added that when the call to prayer began at 4:00am, her body suddenly felt light. She was able to breathe after a long time. After that, she screamed and ran out of the house.
“I still tell myself that it was probably a nightmare,” Mimi said and adding, “But I will never forget that experience. It was so incredible that I only shared it with a few people.”
