Chattogram take on Rajshahi in BPL Cricket final today

The Chattogram Royals will take on Rajshahi Warriors in the final of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket today at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium Cricket Stadium in the capital’s Mirpur.

The gala final will start at 6.00pm. Private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast the match live from the match-venue.

Captain of Chattogram Royals Mahedi Hasan will lead his side, while Captain of Rajshahi Warriors Najmul Hossain Shanto will lead his team.

Chattogram Royals reached the final after beating Rajshahi Warriors by six wickets in the first Qualifier at the same venue on January 20.

On the other hand, Rajshahi Warriors took place in the final after edging past Sylhet Titans by 12 runs in the second Qualifier at the same venue on January 21.

Sylhet Titans reached the second Qualifier defeating Rangpur Riders by three wickets in their Eliminator phase at the same venue on January 20.

Earlier, Rajshahi Warriors, Chattogram Royals, Rangpur Riders, Sylhet Titans confirmed their play-off berths gaining 16, 12, 12 and 10 points respectively from their respective 10 matches.

Parvez Hossain Emon of Sylhet Titans is the highest run getter with 395 runs. Towhid Hridoy of Rangpur Riders is the second highest run getter with 382 runs.

Najmul Hossain Shanto of Rajshahi Warriors is the third highest run getter with 344 runs.

Dawid Malan of Rangpur Riders is the fourth highest run gettter with 300 runs. Mohammad Naim of Chattogram Royals is the fifth highest run getter with 263 runs.

Shoriful Islam of Chattogram Royals is the highest wicket taker with 24 wickets. Nasum Ahmed of Sylhet Titans is the second highest wicket taker with 18 wickets.

Ripon Mondol of Rajshahi Warriors is the third highest wicket taker with 17 wickets.

Hasan Mahmud of Noakhali Express is the fourth highest wicket taker with 16 wickets. Mustafizur Rahman of Rangpur Riders is the fifth highest wicket taker with 16 wickets.
