This ‘power couple’ is coming to the big screen on the occasion of Durga Puja in 2026.
Recently, Dev and Subhashree went live on social media Facebook and officially announced their new project ‘Deshu 7’.

This much-awaited movie is going to be released in theatres on October 16, 2026. Interestingly, the advance bookings for the film have started almost 10 months before its release, which is a rare occurrence in the Tollywood industry.

Currently, Dev has big projects like ‘Ambulance Dada’ and ‘Tonic 2’ in his hands. In the meantime, he is planning a new film as a Puja Dhamaka. Why did he choose Subhasree again?

On the other hand, the story of getting the proposal is also quite surprising.

On the morning of December 31, while Subhashree was vacationing in Thailand with her husband Raj Chakraborty, she got a call from Dev. Subhashree said ‘yes’ to the film proposal in just 30 seconds of conversation.

Dev-Shubhashree were seen together after a long break in Kaushik Ganguly’s ‘Dhoomketu’, but that was a long time ago. But ‘Deshu 7’ is going to be a work of a completely new taste in the present times.

They are coming back to shake Tollywood by removing the bitterness of their personal lives and by joining hands of professionalism and friendship.
