What Mufti Usama said about Jamaat

Staff Reporter :

Popular Islami Scholar speaker Shaykhul Hadith Allama Mufti Ali Hasan Usama shared his thought over Jamaat-e-Islami on Monday saying the party’s bold efforts of establishing Islam in the country attracted him.

The Mufti joined Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami on Saturday; Previously, he had served as the Central Secretary for Ulama Affairs of Khelafat Majlish. On Monday, the country’s popular young speaker shared his thought to journalists about his decision to join Jamaat-e-Islami.

Mufti Ali Hasan Usama said, “The goal of all Islamic political parties is to establish Allah’s religion on Allah’s earth. Jamaat-e-Islami is no exception. Their slogan is: ‘We want Allah’s law, we want governance by righteous people.’ Yes, it is not possible to bring about a complete change overnight within the existing system. But if we sow the seeds of reform, one day they will grow into a great tree, Insha’Allah.”

He further said, “The difference between Jamaat-e-Islami and other Islamic parties is like the difference between a well and the ocean.

Here, people from all classes and professions are present. There is no cult of personality, family rule, or elitism. There is an extremely strong organizational structure. Each person here is like a crystal-clear wall in terms of mutual affection and love. There is no enmity, hostility, bickering, or abusive language.

Everyone is inspired by the dream of martyrdom, trained in the ideals of the victory of Deen, and dedicated to it.”
He added, “From my long involvement with other organizations and politics, I have felt that in the arena of Islamic politics in Bangladesh, the most promising name is Jamaat-e-Islami. Whatever knowledge, ability, and talent Allah has given me, if I use it in this organization, the work of establishing Deen will become more dynamic, Insha’Allah. Any mistakes will also be reformed, Insha’Allah. At the same time, there is such a vast scope here that even giving your best, one lifetime is not enough to finish the work.”

Shaykhul Hadith said, “I constantly pray for everyone who works for the establishment of Deen. I have no complaints against anyone. I chose Jamaat-e-Islami to expand the scope of my service, and to strengthen the hand of the most promising organization so that the work of establishing Deen becomes more effective, rather than being a farmer in unproductive fields. Yes, the path of Deen has never been smooth. That is why we experience both criticism and praise, and we try with all our might to please Allah through both gratitude and patience.”
