Hadi’s brother appointed 2nd secy at BD mission in UK

The government has appointed Omar Bin Hadi, elder brother of Sharif Osman Bin Hadi, as second secretary at the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in Birmingham, United Kingdom, on a contractual basis.

A notification issued on Friday by the Contracts and Foreign Appointment Wing of the Ministry of Public Administration states that Omar Bin Hadi’s appointment will be for a three-year term, effective from the date he assumes the position.

As part of the appointment conditions, he must cut all existing professional, business, or employment ties with government, semi-government, autonomous, or private organisations before taking up the post.
The notification also noted that all other terms and conditions of his appointment will be governed by the contract and emphasized that the appointment has been made in the public interest.
