101 students receive Kazi Enam scholarships

The results of the Kazi Enam Foundation USA merit scholarship examination have been published and awards distributed in Chauddagram, Cumilla. At a function organized at the premises of Chauddagram Ideal School and College on Monday, the chief guest, Chairman of Kazi Enam Foundation, Kazi Md. Enamul Haque, handed over the awards to 101 meritorious students.

Nangalkot Upazila Primary Education Officer Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of Ideal School Kamal Uddin Patwary, Head Teacher of Ideal School Abdul Latif BSc, American expatriate Md. Shaheen, General Secretary of Chauddagram Press Club Belal Hossain, Directors of Ideal School Gazi Shahidul Islam, Abdul Momin, Kazi Zahir, Abdullah Al Mamun Mishu, etc. were present as special guests under the chairmanship of Ideal Foundation President Mohammad Tipu Sultan.

Earlier, on Friday, December 26, this scholarship exam was held with the participation of talented students from 31 schools. This initiative was taken to develop the students’ talent as well as practice morality, humanity and social values.

It is worth noting that 101 students who passed the program from 3rd to 5th grade on merit and grade basis were awarded scholarships. Out of these, 34 students in the talented class and 67 in the general grade received scholarships. The invited guests presented certificates, crests and prize money to all the meritorious students who received scholarships at the program.

In addition, prize money was given as a courtesy prize to all the students who participated in the exam. The Ideal School and College authorities provided overall support in the implementation of the programme.
