Blankets handed over to CCC mayor

Chattogram Bureau :

To stand by the poor and helpless people in the cold, F.G. Holdings Limited has handed over 250 blankets to the Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation and former President of Chittagong Metropolitan BNP, Dr. Shahadat Hossain.

At the blanket handover ceremony, Dr. Shahadat Hossain said that collective efforts are very important to alleviate the suffering of low-income people during the winter season.

Humanitarian assistance from wealthy individuals and institutions of the society is a great help to the poor and helpless people. He praised this humanitarian initiative of F.G.

Holdings Limited and said that such cooperation by private institutions as part of social responsibility sets a positive example in the society.

He also said that these blankets will be properly distributed among the real beneficiaries through Chittagong City Corporation. FG Holdings Limited Managing Director Mohammad Faisal, Director Imran Chowdhury, Director Manjur Alam and Directors Md. Manik, Md. Suman were present at the time.
