Bindu not in ‘Headline’

Once a popular on-screen pair who regularly won audiences’ hearts in television dramas, Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Afsan Ara Bindu have not been seen together for a long time.

Recently, however, speculation resurfaced that Apurba and Bindu might reunite in Hoichoi’s upcoming web series ‘Headline’, sparking renewed discussion among fans.

It was rumored that Bindu would act in ‘Headline’, an upcoming Hoichoi web series written by Taqdeer and Karagar creator Shawki Syed and directed by Saleh Sobhan Anam. The political thriller was also said to feature Apurba in the role of a journalist.

However, Hoichoi Bangladesh’s Country Director Sakib R. Khan has categorically denied these claims. He stated, “Who actually spread the news about Bindu’s comeback? Nothing has been confirmed yet. I want to be very clear-this is fake news. There is no truth to it.”

When contacted, Bindu also said she was unaware of such news. “I don’t know anything about this. There’s nothing to comment on,” she said.

Asked whether any discussions had taken place, Bindu added, “I have spoken with a few directors and received some story proposals. But regarding what you mentioned, I know nothing about it.”
