BCB announces squad for Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the Bangladesh Women’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers, which is scheduled to be held in Nepal from January 18 to February 1.

Nigar Sultana Joty is the captain of the squad, while Nahida Akter is the vice-captain.

Bangladesh, United States of America, Ireland, Papua New Guinea and Namibia are in Group-A of the Qualifiers.
Bangladesh Women’s Cricket team will face the United States on the opening day of the Qualifiers on January 18. They will play against Papua New Guinea on January 20 and Namibia on January 22 . Bangladesh will face Ireland in their last group match on January 24.

Bangladesh Women’s T20 squad: Nigar Sultana Joty (Captain), Nahida Akter (Vice-Captain), Sobhana Mostari, Fargana Hoque, Sharmin Akhter, Dilara Akter, Juairiya Ferdous, Ritu Moni, Fahima Khatun, Shorna Akter, Rabeya Khan, Marufa Akter, Fariha Islam Trisna, Sanjida Akhter Meghla and Sultana Khatun.
Standby – Sharmin Sultana, Farzana Yasmin, Sharifa Khatun, Fatema Jahan Sonia and Habiba Islam Pinki.
