Nazifa Tushi coming with 3 new films

Nazifa Anjum Tushi, theatrical name Nazifa Tushi, is a popular actress, model and TV presenter
of present generation.

She returned to the big screen in 2022 with ‘Hawa’ after six years break. Although her performance in that film was praised and then she went into hiding again. She has not been seen in movies or OTT anywhere. Finally, Tushi is returning to the audience with multiple films this year.

Three of Tushi’s new films have already been officially announced. These are: Mejbaur Rahman Sumon’s ‘Roid’, Raihan Rafi’s ‘Andhar’ and N Rashed Chowdhury’s ‘Sokhi Rongomala’.

Film ‘Roid’ will have its international premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in the Netherlands in February. It will then be released in the country’s theatres.

The makers have also announced that films ‘Andhar’ and ‘Sokhi Rongomala’ will also be released this year.

Regarding her return to the screen after a long time, Tushi said, “I have done several works after ‘Hawa’. I hope that my works will be released in front of the audience this year.

Out of these, three films have been announced. Three different types of films – three different directors, different stories, and different characters.”

In film ‘Roid’, Nazifa Tushi’s character has no name. She is known as ‘Sadu’s wife’. Mostafizur Noor Imran has played the role of ‘Sadu’.

Tushi said that she had to prepare for this role for a long time. She did not use any makeup, and even refrained from using soap and shampoo for six months. Tushi also changed her physical appearance to meet the needs of her character.

Tushi is playing the central role in N Rashed Chowdhury’s film ‘Sokhi Rongomala’.
It is being made based on the novel by fiction writer Shahin Akhtar. The story of a landlord family of 18th century Noakhali is told in ‘Sokhi Rongomala’.

Tushi’s co-star is Mostafizur Noor Imran in this film. Prantar Dastidar, Taufiqul Emon, Shilpi Sarkar Apu and others are also acting in this film.

After the shooting, editing work of the movie is currently underway.
Film ‘Andhar’ is being made into a horror story; where Tushi will be seen in role of ‘Nadia’. However, she doesn’t want to give details about the story of the movie right now. Siam Ahmed, Chanchal Chowdhury, Afsana Mimi, Mostafa Monwar and others also star in this movie. After shooting in November, director announced that ‘Andhar’ will be released this year after editing.

Meanwhile, it has been heard for a few days that Tushi has started shooting for another new movie directed by Raihan Rafi. The movie titled ‘Pressure Cooker’ is being made with a female-centric story. However, Tushi is not willing to talk about the movie right now.

She said that the team is prohibited from talking about the movie. An official announcement will be made soon.
