Barrister Fuad collects Tk 22 Lakh for polls

Barrister Asaduzzaman Fuad (Asaduzzaman Bhuiyan), the discussed candidate for Barishal-3 (Babuganj-Muladi) parliamentary constituency and General Secretary of AB Party, has collected about 22 lakh taka in 25 hours after posting on social media seeking financial assistance from supporters for election expenses.
He confirmed the matter by going live on his Facebook page on early Tuesday.

According to his statement given in the live broadcasting , 11 lakh 20 thousand 969 taka has been received in two bKash accounts and 1 lakh 25 thousand 609 taka has been received in one Nagad account of Barrister Fuad. In addition, 9 lakh 45 thousand 467 taka has been deposited in his bank account.

Apart from this, he also said that a journalist who came to his office donated 2,000 taka for the election fund.
In total, a total of 21 lakh 94 thousand 45 taka has been deposited in his election fund from supporters and well-wishers in the last 25 hours. Barrister Fuad warned everyone on Facebook Live, saying, “Many people are copying and posting the video I posted for financial support.
