The shooting of the film has recently been completed. The director said that ‘Roktochhaya’ was made with the Cannes Film Festival in mind.

Regarding the story of the movie, director Zulfikar Zahedi said, “The story of the film revolves around the issue of discrimination against women.

Here, we have tried to highlight the strength and intelligence of women. And for this, I needed a strong and talented actress.

That is why I chose Runa Khan. I am very impressed with her acting skills and sense of proportion. I hope everyone will like the short film when it is released.”

Actress Runa Khan said, “‘Roktochhaya’ is made in a female-dominated story. It can be called a psycho-thriller story. The name of my character here is Shivana Nasrin. She is a responsible protesting police officer.

She is steadfast in her profession and honesty. This is my first experience of acting as a police officer. In the story, it will be seen that the number of crimes in the city is increasing. Shivana is given the responsibility to suppress it.

When a woman holds a responsible position, her capabilities are often questioned. The story of this film also has the same image. In addition, the film will highlight various inconsistencies in the society.”

Aman Reza, Rafah Nanjeba Torsa, Nokshi Tabassum, Affan Mitul, and others also acted in ‘Roktochhaya’, produced by Adrian Productions. Meanwhile, Runa Khan has signed a contract to act in a full-length film by Zulfikar Zahedi.

The story of the film titled ‘Chalchitra: The Cinema’ is based on the lives of people on the silver screen. Runa will play the role of a film actress in this film.
