Be prepared with popcorn, I will set screen on fire: Siam’s warning in New Year

The year 2026 has begun with new expectations. On the first day of 2026, Dhallywood hero Siam Ahmed reminisced on social media about the successes of past year and excitement of audience. Siam wrote, “This year began with a lot of fear and uncertainty.

It was at that time that the work of entertainment became even more important -taking people away from the pressures of reality, at least for a little while, making them laugh, cry, or take them to a new world.”

Regarding one of the best movies of last year, ‘Jongli’, Siam wrote, “Lakhs of people came to cinema hall with their families on Eid to watch ‘Jongli’.

You laughed, cried, and hugged me with utmost affection. I secretly saw in theatres – the father is sitting holding his child, tears are flowing freely from the mother’s eyes. Believe me, seeing your love has made my eyes wet too.”

Sharing his plans and challenges for the New Year, Siam wrote, “Now it’s time for a new challenge. In New Year, there are more new characters and new stories coming for you. I act in films for audience, and my biggest achievement is to make the audience like me or not.

So in New Year, I have taken up some characters and stories where the demon will become a wild animal in the dark.”

Finally, the hero wrote, “So hold on to your cinema seat, keep that box of popcorn close, because I’m coming to set the screen on fire. Happy New Year to my big family.”
