No cultural events, DJ parties during 3-day

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) announced that no cultural programmes, DJ parties, rallies, fireworks, crackers, sky lanterns, gas balloons, or open-space processions will be allowed in the capital during the three-day state mourning following the death of former prime minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
The government declared nationwide mourning from today to Friday (2 January).
The DMP urged residents to comply with the restrictions and expressed deep sorrow over her passing.
Khaleda Zia passed away around 6am today at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka at the age of 79.
Her death has drawn condolences and shock from leaders and heads of governments worldwide.
