Shooting of Pori Moni’s stalled movie ‘Pritilata’ starting again

The shooting of two films about Pritilata Waddedar, the heroine of the anti-British
movement, began in 2020.

Nusrat Imroz Tisha played Pritilata in Pradeep Ghosh’s film ‘Birkanya Pritilata’. On the other hand, Pori Moni played Pritilata in Rashid Palash’s film.

Although Pradeep Ghosh’s film will see the light of day in 2023, Rashid Palash’s ‘Pritilata’ is on hold. The producer said that shooting of the film will resume in the New Year.

On December 27, sharing a picture with Pori Moni on social media, director Rashid Palash wrote, “This time ‘Pritilata’ will also end, Insha Allah 2026.” In the comments section, Pori Moni wrote, “I am also ready.”

It was clear that Pori Moni is standing in front of the camera again as Pritilata in the
New Year, overcoming the complications.

When contacted to inquire about ‘Pritilata’ movie, Rashid Palash said, “I have been
planning to complete the remaining parts of Pritilata for a long time. If everything goes well, I will go for shooting in April of 2026.”
