Rishad claims 1st 3-wkt haul in BBL

Bangladesh leg-spinner Rishad Hossain enjoyed his first three-wicket haul in a single match in the Big Bash League (BBL), despite conceding runs at a higher rate.

Representing Hobart Hurricanes, Rishad finished with figures of 3 for 33 from his four overs as Perth Scorchers were restricted to 150 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs.

Although the Australian T20 competition is Rishad’s debut season, the leg-spinner has now taken three wickets in this match alone, equal to his tally from the previous three matches combined, where he had claimed three wickets in total.

Rishad’s performance provided a key boost for the Hurricanes as they kept the Scorchers in check with timely breakthroughs.
