ACME Laboratories approves 35pc cash dividend in 49th AGM

The shareholders of ACME Laboratories Ltd. have approved a 35 percent cash dividend for the financial year 2024-2025. The approval came during the company’s 49th Annual General Meeting (AGM), held virtually through a digital platform on Monday at 11:30 AM.

The meeting was presided over by Mrs. Nagina Afzal Sinha, Chairman of the company. Senior management and board members present included Dr. Jabilur Rahman Sinha, Deputy Managing Director; Mrs. Jahanara Afzal Sinha, Deputy Managing Director; Mrs. Tasneem Sinha, Deputy Managing Director; Mr. Tanveer Sinha, Director; Mrs. Sabina Juned, Director; Mr. Fahim Sinha, Director; Mr. Das Deba Prashad, Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee and Nomination.

& Remuneration Committee; Mr. Ehsan U. Fattah, Independent Director; Mr. Kazi Sanaul Hoq, Independent Director; Mr. Niranjan Chandra Debnath, Nominee Director; Mr. Md. Hasibur Rahman, Additional Deputy Managing Director & Head of Internal Audit and Compliance; Mr. Kaz Mohammed Badruddin, FCA, FCMA, Executive Director & Chief Financial Officer; Mr. Md. Archadu I. Kabir, FCA, Senior GM-Finance & Accounts; and Mr. Masudul Rahman Bhuiyan, FCS, Company Secretary.

A large number of shareholders also joined the meeting online.
During the AGM, the company presented its key activities and achievements of 2024-2025, including the Director’s Report, Audited Financial Statements, dividend declaration, election of directors, appointment of statutory and compliance auditors, and other important action plans and the future roadmap. All agenda items were duly approved by the shareholders.

In her address, the Chairman expressed gratitude to all participants for contributing to the success of the 49th AGM.
