Badrul Islam, a resident of Jangirai in Jaifornagar Union of Juri Upazila, Moulvibazar, a member of Juri Upazila Press Club, and a senior journalist from Juri, died at Kulaura Hospital on Friday.
He was 67 years old. He is survived by his wife, two sons, two daughters, and numerous other relatives.
On Saturday at 2:15 pm, after the funeral prayers at Juri Baro Masjid Shahi Eidgah, his body was buried in the adjacent cemetery.
During his lifetime, Badrul Islam taught at Moktadir Girls’ High School, Langla Modern Degree College, and Juri TN Khanam Academy College. He was also a pharmacy businessman in Juri Kaminiganj Bazar. In addition, he was actively involved in various organizations, including the Apex Club of Juri Valley and the Bangladesh Chemist and Druggist Association.
