Nazifa Hossain Shadhika has secured second place in the General Dance category at ‘Notun Kuri 2025’, Bangladesh Television’s national talent search competition for children and teenagers.
Shadhika is a regular student of Bangladesh Shishu Academy and studies at Udayan Higher Secondary School, says a press release.
Competing against nearly 18,000 participants from across the country, Shadhika demonstrated
exceptional skill and consistency.
She emerged as the best performer in the Dhaka divisional round, ranked second in the top 10 selection, and later secured first place in the final top 10 round, earning her position among the
top 5 nationally.
Jointly organised by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and BTV, ‘Notun Kuri 2025’
features 12 categories,including dance, music, recitation and acting.
Re-launched after 20 years, the competition has again become
a major platform for discovering the young talents.
