Martyred Intellectuals' Day observed in districts: Martyrdom Intellectual Day celebrated

Like the rest of the country, Martyred Intellectuals’ Day was celebrated with due dignity in Bagerhat too.

On the occasion of the day, on Sunday at 9 am, Deputy Commissioner Golam Md. Baten laid a wreath on behalf of the district administration at the town’s slaughterhouse.

Later, Additional Superintendent of Police Muhammad Mohidur Rahman laid a wreath along with police officers on behalf of the district police.

After this, a guard of honor and a minute’s silence were observed in memory of the martyred intellectuals.

After this, wreaths were laid on behalf of various political and social organizations including the District.
