BNP, Jamaat, CPB will contest

Moulana Md. Shafiul Islam Moral, senior leader of district Jamaat -e-Islami who was campaign launched in Pakundia and Katiadi municipalities, unions, ward continuing as a Jamaat candidate. Moulona Shafiul Islam Moral is a former katiadi upazila vice -chairman. He is a potential candidate, also said that after fall of autocratic Sheikh Hasina government, People ‘s perception of Jamaat has changes, and public involvement has also increased.

Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB), district President Comrade Abdur Abdur preparing to participate in the Jatiya Sangsad election. Comrade Abdur Rahman continued its efforts to win over voters at the field level by finalizing the candidate for Parliament election.

Abu Sayeed Uzzal of National Citizens Party nominated as an MP candidate. He seriously election campaign in this constituency. Several potential candidates are preparing for national election.
