RFL begins exporting bags to US market

RFL, one of the country’s leading business conglomerates, has begun exporting various types of bags to the United States.

The first consignment was recently shipped from the group’s factory in Gangachara, Rangpur. RFL bags are now exported to 10 countries, including Canada, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Germany, Korea and Australia.

RN Paul, Managing Director of RFL Group, said that entering one of the world’s largest and most competitive markets is “a matter of great honour and pride”.

He added that the milestone strengthens both RFL’s global position and Bangladesh’s industrial footprint.

“We have always prioritised using internationally certified technology and raw materials so that the acceptance of ‘Made in Bangladesh’ products becomes even stronger worldwide,” he said.

He noted that the Gangachara factory’s success illustrates that industrialisation need not be limited to urban areas.

“We wanted to prove that quality global products can be manufactured even in remote regions.

This time, we exported ladies’ handbags to the US. Our goal is to continue supplying quality products while entering new markets based on customer demand.”

RFL began manufacturing eco-friendly and sustainable bags in 2023. Under its “Travello” brand, the company now produces a wide range of items including ladies’ bags, backpacks, duffle bags, storage bags, and both soft and hard luggage.
