BNP Central Committee Joint Secretary General and party nominated candidate Syed Emran Saleh Prince said, we must remain united to bring back the people’s voting rights and restore democracy. Every grassroots leader and activist will play a decisive role in the next election. People want change, BNP is ready to lead that change.
He said this as the chief guest at the joint extended meeting of Upazila and Municipal BNP at Agrajatra Convention Center in Haluaghat, Mymensingh this afternoon (December 7). At the beginning of the meeting, prayers were offered for the health of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
The meeting discussed the finalization of the election program of BNP nominated candidate Syed Emran Saleh Prince in the upcoming elections and organizational preparations at the grassroots level.
Speaking as the chief guest at the extended meeting, he further said that union-based workers’ meetings will be organized with great importance. The organization will be further strengthened by listening to the opinions of the grassroots.
This democratic movement cannot be suppressed by suppression or obstruction.
The extended meeting, chaired by Upazila BNP convener Aslam Mia Babul, was attended by municipal BNP convener Hanif Mohammad Shaker Ullah and joint conveners of upazila and municipal BNP, members and leaders of unions and municipal ward BNP and affiliated organizations.
