National Institute of Technology (NIT) in Muradpur, Chattagram, organised the “NIT Job Fair-2025” at the main campus of the institute with great enthusiasm and success on Sunday.
It is recognized as one of the largest and most influential career fairs in Chattagram for technical students.
The main objective of this event was to create direct employment opportunities in the industrial sector for the diploma students of the institution and to establish an effective bridge between education and industry. More than 40 leading organizations of the country participated in it.
More than 500 job seekers submitted applications at the fair. Under the chairmanship of NIT Chairman Ahsan Habib, Professor Dr. A.K.M. Mainul Haque Miyaji, Department of Physics, University of Chittagong was present as the chief guest. Mr. Md. Arif, Secondary Education Officer, was the special guest. The chief guest said, a job is not just about financial security, it is a path to responsibility, creativity and contribution to society.
Therefore, to utilize these opportunities today, proper preparation, skill development and a positive mindset are required. He thanked the organizing committee for such an arrangement. He also expressed his gratitude to all the companies that participated in this job fair. Later, the chief guest inaugurated the NIT Job Fair by cutting the ribbon. Special guest Secondary Education Officer Mr. Arifur Rahman said- “Such an event is very important to transform the youth society into skilled human resources. Through this job fair, the youth got the opportunity to directly interact with the employers. National Institute of Technology (NIT) has pledged to take such employment initiatives in the future to support the career development of students and establish connections with the industry.
This year, more than 40 leading organizations are participating, including IT service providers, engineering firms, manufacturing industries, fintech organizations, automation and robotics companies and representatives of government and private development projects.

In addition to job opportunities, the fair also offers career counseling sessions, interview preparation workshops, CV preparation instructions, and a discussion session with industry experts was organized, resulting in approximately 37 initial job placements. At the end of the event, the guests presented mementos to the participating organizations.
