Record revenue, higher EPS mark Envoy Textiles’ 30th AGM

Envoy Textiles Limited, the world’s first LEED Platinum-certified denim manufacturer, held its 30th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday at the Gulshan Shooting Club in Dhaka.

Shareholders, board members, senior management, and auditors attended the meeting, which was chaired by founder and chairman Engr. Kutubuddin Ahmed. Managing director Tanvir Ahmed was also present at the session, which focused on transparency, accountability, and the company’s strong financial performance over the past year.

The AGM, conducted by company secretary M Saiful Islam Chowdhury, approved the Audited Financial Statements for the year ending 30 June 2025 along with the board and auditors’ reports. Shareholders also approved a 30 percent dividend for the year, highlighting the company’s commitment to returning value to its investors while maintaining financial strength.

Managing director Tanvir Ahmed updated shareholders on the company’s performance, announcing that Envoy Textiles achieved its highest-ever profit in FY 2024-25. Net profit rose to around Tk141 crore, more than double the previous year. Earnings per share increased to Tk8.40 from Tk3.58, and net asset value per share grew to Tk58.32 from Tk51.93.

Operating cash flow per share also improved, rising to Tk4.77 from Tk3.68. The company saw strong sales and revenue growth, with annual revenue reaching Tk1,862.48 crore-a 30.6 percent increase from the previous year-and total denim sales rising to 55.41 million yards, marking a 39.4 percent increase driven by growing global demand.
The AGM also approved the appointment of auditors for the next term and endorsed hiring a professional accountant/secretary for 2025-26. With all agenda items unanimously passed, the meeting concluded with the chairman thanking shareholders for their continued trust and support as Envoy Textiles pursues sustainable growth in the global denim industry.
