Shahzadpur Sirajganj Correspondent: Farewell reception for Upazila Executive Officer Md. Kamruzzaman in Shahzadpur , Sirajganj On Thursday morning, December 4, 2025, a farewell reception was held for Upazila Executive Officer Md. Kamruzzaman in the hall room of Shahzadpur Upazila Parishad on his transfer. Present at the time were Upazila Executive Officer Md. Kamruzzaman, Shahzadpur Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Mushfiqur Rahman, Shahzadpur Upazila Health Officer Dr. Masud Rana, Shahzadpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Aslam Ali, Shahzadpur Upazila Agriculture Officer Abdullah Al Mamun and all the officials and employees of the upazila.
Chairmen of various union councils of the upazila, leaders of various cultural organizations of Shahzadpur , political personalities and local dignitaries were present there.
It is worth mentioning that Md. Kamruzzaman served in this upazila for almost two years. During these two years, he has won the hearts of almost all the people in the upazila, especially the needy and helpless people. He has also done various important works in the upazila.
The work of the traditional shrine of Hazrat Makhdum Shahdaula Shaheed Yemeni (RA) in Shahzadpur was stopped for a long time, and now it is on the way to completion. This is the contribution of this UNO Kamruzzaman, to bring the Shahzadpur municipality under the scope of CCTV cameras. He has started the work of installing CCTV cameras at the main points of Shahjadpur.
The pond of Shahzadpur Upazila Parishad had been neglected for a long time. He has renovated the pond and made it suitable for people to rest there. He has also inaugurated the Shahzadpur Municipal Park.
Not only that, he has supported the children of the helpless and poor people with the opportunity to read and write. The bride and groom himself roamed around the city at night in the middle of winter, finding cold-stricken people and distributing government-funded blankets. In a word, Upazila Executive Officer Md. Kamruzzaman was a humane executive officer. The people of Shahzadpur were impressed by his behavior. Most of the common people of Shahzadpur were in tears when he left.
