Siam-Idhika pair up

Dhallywood star Siam Ahmed has wrapped up the shooting of Raihan Rafi’s film Andhar. After completing this project, he is set to start a new movie, Rakshas, which has already generated excitement among audiences.

There had been long-standing speculation about the film’s leading actress. Names like Prarthana Fardin Dighi and Sabila Noor were mentioned, but the makers took their time to make a final decision.

It has now been confirmed that Kolkata-based actress Idhika Pal has been finalized as the heroine. A contract with her is expected to be completed this week. If all goes well, this will be the first film featuring the Siam-Idhika pairing.

The production company has announced that shooting for Rakshas will begin in Dhaka this month, with some scenes planned to be filmed in Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
