Shakib’s film ‘Antaratma’ releasing today on iScreen

Shakib Khan’s two films titled ‘Borbaad’ and ‘Antaratma’ were released in theatres on Eid this year.

Although ‘Borbaad’ was a hit, ‘Antaratma’ failed due to lack of
promotion. The film is now coming to the OTT platform iScreen.

The release of ‘Antaratma’ was announced on Monday on the Facebook page of iScreen. This heart-warming story, a blend of emotion and action, will be available on the platform from December 4.

‘Antaratma’ is made by Wazed Ali Suman. In it, Darshana Banik from West Bengal acts with Shakib Khan.

In the story, it can be seen that Prothom’s (Shakib) parents are killed by terrorists in his childhood. Prothom grows up to be a terror of terrorists. He lacks nothing.

However, he is very lonely. He meets Rupkotha (Darshana). He falls in love with her. He also gets married. However, Prothom’s life does not come to stability.

The movie ‘Antaratma’ was shot four years ago in 2021. It was scheduled to be released on Eid that year. Later, the movie’s release was delayed due to some unknown reason.

This year, it was suddenly announced to be released on Eid. However, it did not do well in theaters.

It was pulled from cineplexes before the first week was over. ‘Antaratma’ could not attract audiences even on single screens. One of the reasons for failure of ‘Antaratma’ was the lack of promotion.

Shakib was completely silent about ‘Antaratma’ despite being vocal about the film’s failure. Others also did not have much of a role.

However, heroine of ‘Antaratma’ Darshana Banik was an exception. Although she could not come to Bangladesh for promotion, she regularly posted about the movie on social media.

The film ‘Antaratma’ is produced by Sohani Hossain under the banner of Torongo Entertainment.

It also stars Shahed Sharif Khan, Aruna Biswas, Jhuna Chowdhury, and others.
