NCC Bank has partnered with Mastercard for the first time to launch three new premium cards that offer more convenience, security and global access for customers.
The new products are the Multicurrency Business Debit Card, Multicurrency Platinum Debit Card, and Titanium Credit Card. All cards come with contactless technology, dual-currency support and advanced security features. Cardholders will also get lifestyle, travel and dining benefits, plus discounts at over 9,500 Mastercard partner outlets in Bangladesh and full global POS, e-commerce and ATM access, said to a press release.
The launch event was attended by top officials from Bangladesh Bank, NCC Bank and Mastercard.
Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Md. Zakir Hossain Chowdhury praised the initiative, calling it an important step for digital payments in the country.
NCC Bank Managing Director M. Shamsul Arefin said the partnership will help the bank offer safer and more innovative services. Mastercard’s South Asia President Gautam Aggarwal said the new cards will support Bangladesh’s move toward a cashless future.
