Civic dialogue held in Sylhet

BNP nominated candidate for Sylhet-1 (City and Sadar) constituency, BNP Chairperson’s advisor Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, said, if BNP comes to power, we will work to fulfill the expectations and achievements of Sylhet’s civil society.

We will work with everyone to develop the public transport system, resolve waterlogging, and solve all problems to meet the expectations of Sylhet’s civil society.

He said, BNP will play a timely and practical role in fulfilling your expectations. We will work to build a prosperous Sylhet by formulating and implementing strategies in collaboration with knowledgeable, honest, skilled, creative, enlightened and patriotic citizens.

He said the above words at an open civic dialogue held at an elite hotel in the Dargahgate area of Sylhet city on Sunday.

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST)’s Assistant Professor of Business Administration Dr. Mosaddak Ahmed Chowdhury moderated the open discussion, attended by former DG of Bangladesh Rotary International Shahid Ahmed Chowdhury, former GM of Jalalabad Gas Mahbub Sobhani Chowdhury, former Registrar of SUST Jamil Ahmed Chowdhury, Dr. Mostafa Shahjahan Chowdhury, Convener of Sammilit Peshajibi Parishad Sylhet Dr. Shamimur Rahman, President of Sylhet Press Club Ikramul Kabir, President of Sylhet Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Lubana Yasmin Shampa, Director Shama Haque Chowdhury, Executive Director of UKBET Asaduzzaman Sayem, among others also attend the open dialogue.
