Dobaura observes Cooperative Day

With the theme “Cooperatives will build the nation through equality and equity,” the National Cooperative Day was celebrated in Dobaura, Mymensingh, through various programmes.
On Saturday at 11 am, the event was organised by the Upazila Administration, the Department of Cooperatives, and local cooperative members.

The day’s programmes included the hoisting of the national and cooperative flags, a colourful rally, and a discussion meeting. The rally started from the Upazila Parishad premises, paraded through the main roads, and concluded at the Parishad hall room.

Upazila Cooperative Officer Mohammad Kamrul Huda presided over the discussion meeting, while Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nusrat Jahan Ononna and Officer-in-Charge Al Mamun Sorkar attended as special guests. Officials and employees from various departments were also present.

Speakers at the event highlighted the importance, achievements, and success of cooperative initiatives in promoting equality and development.
