Srimangal, the land of natural beauty in the tea-growing region of Moulvibazar, is a place one longs to revisit once experienced. Here, lush greenery generously spreads its charm, and tourists often lose themselves amidst the evergreen landscape.
Keeping the convenience of tourists in mind, Srimangal Municipality has now inaugurated a book stall named “Reader’s corner” at Srimangal Railway Station, allowing passengers to spend their waiting time productively.
The inauguration took place on Thursday at 11:30 am at Srimangal Railway Station, officiated by Srimangal Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Srimangal Municipal Administrator Md. Islam Uddin.
The event was attended by Upazila Engineer Md. Yusuf Hossain Khan, Srimangal Municipal Engineer Md. Zahidul Islam, and Khairul Islam Talukdar of Srimangal Railway Police Station, among others.
Md. Islam Uddin, UNO and Municipal Administrator of Srimangal, said, “Every day, numerous tourists visit Srimangal, the land of extraordinary beauty, many of whom travel by train. This initiative is designed to help them spend their waiting time here meaningfully. I hope many will enjoy reading these books.”
