ACI Motors achieves guinness world record

ACI Motors Limited, one of the pioneers in agricultural mechanization, successfully organized a grand tractor handover event on Monday at the Trade Fair Ground adjacent to the Gor-e-Shaheed Central Eidgah Maidan in Dinajpur, under the theme “Sonalikar Bisshojoy.”

In this event, 350 units of Sonalika tractors were handed over to farmers simultaneously.The key objective of the event was to secure Bangladesh’s place in the Guinness World Records by achieving the highest number of tractor handovers in a single event,according to press release.

Subrata Ranjan Das, deputy managing director of ACI Motors Limited, presided over the inaugural ceremony where Gaurav Saxena, director and chief executive officer of International Tractors Limited were present as chief guest.

Over the past 18 years of partnership with Sonalika, ACI Motors Limited has played a significant role in advancing agricultural mechanization in Bangladesh.One of the main objectives of the event was to celebrate this success and to inspire new enthusiasm in the nation’s agricultural sector.Although agriculture is often called the backbone of Bangladesh’s economy, a noticeable lack of motivation and encouragement among farmers remains.

In continuation of this commitment, this initiative aims to highlight Bangladesh’s progress in agricultural mechanization on the international stage showcasing that Bangladesh’s agriculture and its farmers are truly of world-class standard and deserving of global recognition.

This world record attempt is not only a proud gift from the farmers of Bangladesh to the nation, but also a tribute from ACI Motors Limited to the hardworking farmers of the country.
