This Government Is the Guard and Occupier of Fascists : Momin Mahadi

Chairman of the political party Natundhara Bangladesh NDB, Momin Mehadi, has said that over the past 14 months, the rise in commodity prices, corruption, murder, rape, extortion, land grabbing, and robbery have proved one undeniable truth — this government is nothing but the guard and occupier of fascists. “They speak against fascists in words, but secretly they themselves are transforming into super-fascists. Otherwise, why would there be such ruthless unrest in Bangladesh during the tenure of a so-called Nobel Peace laureate?” he asked.

He made these remarks on October 29 at 4 PM in the Bijoy Milonayoton at Topkhana Road during a discussion meeting titled ‘How Necessary Is a Referendum’, organized by the Jatiyo Shechchasebokdhara (National Volunteer Forum).

At that time, he mentioned that the Forest Adviser and his family are running the business establishments of former minister Bipu, saying, “Not only the Forest Adviser — most advisers are now guarding the assets of fascists. Even Adviser Asif Nazrul, who talks big, is busy guarding the properties of former MP Tahura and her family, along with various others, fearing that the government might confiscate them.”

He further stated that “to cover up their failure in curbing land grabbing, theft, robbery, rape, price hikes, and corruption, they are now staging a drama in the name of a ‘referendum’ — which is nothing but rejoicing over the destruction of state resources.”

The meeting was presided over by Monir Zaman, Convener of the Jatiyo Shechchasebokdhara, and also addressed by Gazi Monsur, Presidium Member; Shanta Farjana, Senior Vice Chairman; Adv. Shah Alam Al Shawon, Law Affairs Secretary; Nipa Akter, and others.

During his speech, Momin Mahadi also said, “It is truly shameful how disgraceful oppression has been carried out by ignoring the demands of those who are the true nation builders. I must also say that due to the Chief Adviser of the interim government formed through students, the education system is collapsing. As in the past, under this government’s rule, people’s lives have become unbearable because of price hikes, corruption, rape, murder, terrorism, theft, robbery, extortion, and all kinds of injustice and crimes.”

He concluded by saying, “Through nepotism, the top rulers have turned their brothers, wives, fathers, and even girlfriends into power partners. Because of such fascist behavior, even those who want to reject this government and take to the streets cannot do so as before.”
