NRBC bank holds entrepreneurship training to boost SMEs

NRBC Bank organized entrepreneurship development training on Thursday aimed at promoting the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Bangladesh.

The program was held in Feni under the supervision of Bangladesh Bank and with financial support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB), according to a press release.

The training was part of the month-long Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP), an initiative by the Ministry of Finance designed to strengthen the country’s industrial capacity and entrepreneurship ecosystem. At the session, Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director and CEO of NRBC Bank, spoke about banking services for entrepreneurs, investment opportunities, and best practices in business operations and management.
He emphasised the role of entrepreneur development programs in creating jobs and accelerating economic growth.
