UCB holds road safety workshop for drivers

United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) has organised a special awareness workshop to honour its drivers and promote safer roads on the occasion of National Road Safety Day 2025.

The session, held at UCB’s head office, focused on enhancing drivers’ knowledge of safe driving practices, traffic laws and vehicle maintenance. The goal was to encourage responsible behaviour and ensure safer journeys for everyone,according to a press release.

Experienced trainers from the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) and Gulshan Traffic Division conducted the workshop. They discussed topics such as maintaining speed limits, following traffic rules and preventing accidents.
