RU Old Student Assoc gets new committee

Rajshahi University (RU) Old Student Association got convening committee lead by Md. Nurul Islam Molla as Convener and Md. Shamim Reza as Member Secretary.
The committee formed in a discussion meeting of the association on October 18, 2025, at Baridhara Club, Dhaka, attended by several life members, including two former presidents of the association.

The meeting was aimed to revive the activities of the Rajshahi University Alumni Association (Registration No. DHA-08191).

The proposed committee was requested to organize a meeting of the registered life members of the association soon. It has accepted the proposed responsibilities.
A total of 15 members were present at the meeting and unanimously approved the convening committee consisting of 33 life members.

With the consent of all present members, it was then decided to hold the first meeting of the life members in mid-November to discuss several agendas.

The agendas were- 1. Finalization of the Convening Committee of the Association, 2. Discussion and taking decision on reactivating the Association’s activities and formulating future plans and programs.
3: Review and finalization of the Facebook page and WhatsApp group being developed to inform all concerned about the Association’s necessary activities and to strengthen mutual communication.
The date, time, and venue of the proposed first meeting of the life members will be announced soon through appropriate publicity and communication channels.
