Habiba Akter Raisa, daughter of Muhammad Abu Hanif, Secretary General of Bangladesh Kalyan Party and Executive Member of the Bangladesh Federal Journalists’ Union (BFUJ), achieved remarkable success at the 71st anniversary celebrations of the National Press Club.
The event, aimed at fostering creativity and talent among children, featured a fair, art competitions, and cultural programs. The festivities were organized under the supervision of Sahanaz Poli, convener of the event’s action committee.
During the award ceremony held yesterday evening at Zahur Hossain Chowdhury Hall, children of the club members were recognized for their outstanding performances. Habiba Akter Raisa stood out by winning first place in painting and music competitions, third place in poetry recitation, and second place in the running race.
The ceremony was attended by National Press Club President Poet Hasan Hafiz, General Secretary Ayub Bhuiyan, and internationally renowned magician Jewel Aich. Other notable attendees included Sports Sub-Committee members Shirin Sultana, Anowar Hossain, Abdullah Majumdar, Anowar Haque, Mofizul Islam Babu, D.M. Omar, Nila Islam, and others.
