CAVA Cup for Men 2025 inaugurates

The CAVA Cup for Men 2025 was inaugurated in a befitting manner at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in Mirpur on Wednesday.
Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Md Mahbub-ul-Alam inaugurated the gala extravaganza by releasing the balloons as the chief guest, while Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Md Salim Fakir and Executive Director of the National Sports Council Kazi Nazrul Islam were present as special guests. President of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation Faruque Hasan presided over the gala opening ceremony.
A total of six teams are taking part in the volleyball competition. Hosts Bangladesh, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan are competing the international volleyball meet.
The volleyball competition will come to an end on October 28.
Md Mahbub-ul-Alam said, ” Bangladesh is a an amicable country for all the countries of the world. I hope this volleyball competition will be entertaining and competitive. The volleyball meet will be a successful competition by the participation of those six countries. I am giving thanks to the foreign countries, which are taking part in this volleyball competition.”
Faruque Hasan said, ” It is a pride for Bangladesh to arrange such kind of tournament. It is a historic moment for Bangladesh. We are orgaising a mega competition. It is a landmark for Bangladesh Volleyball Federation. Let us give our hundred percent to make successful this volleyball tournament.”
