Strict measures announced against misconduct in upcoming Fazil (Pass) examinations at IAU

The Islamic Arabic University (IAU) has announced strict measures against any misconduct in the upcoming Fazil (Pass) examinations. The examinations will be conducted in an environment free from cheating and disruptions. Any irregularities during the exam will be met with severe action.
A meeting titled ‘Inspection of Examination Centers and Necessary Actions’ was held on Wednesday, at 10 a.m. in the university auditorium, organized by the Examination Control Department. The session focused on ensuring the Fazil (Pass) exams, scheduled to be held from October 25, 2025, are conducted in a fair, cheat-free, and peaceful manner, says a press release.
Speakers emphasised the goal of conducting a smooth and quality examination maintaining the university’s legacy. They stressed that every examination center must operate in a disciplined, peaceful, and cheating-free environment, with teachers and officials responsible for strict supervision during center inspections.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Shamsul Alam, Pro-Vice-Chancellors Professor Dr. Mohammad Shahidul Islam and Professor Dr. Mohammad Abu Jafar Khan, Treasurer ASM Mamunur Rahman Khalili, and Registrar Md. Ayub Hossain. Responsible teachers and officials for center inspections also participated. The meeting was chaired by University Controller of Examinations Mohammad Ali.
Vice-Chancellor Dr. Shamsul Alam highlighted the Fazil examination as a key phase in higher education, reflecting not only academic knowledge but also ethics, integrity, and responsibility. He stressed zero tolerance for misconduct, negligence, or laxity in the exam process. The university is implementing modern technology-based monitoring, effective center management, and supervision to enhance question paper security, punctuality, and overall discipline.
He urged all responsible officials to perform their duties with honesty and dedication to uphold the university’s reputation. Present teachers and officials also pledged to maintain the highest level of integrity and commitment in their field duties.
