Ziaur Rahman Foundation organizes free medical camp and distributes saplings in Sylhet

Sylhet Bureau :
BNP Chairperson’s Advisor and Executive Director of Ziaur Rahman Foundation Dr. Farhad Halim Doner said, after martyred President Ziaur Rahman took charge of the state in 1975, there was a lot of change. He established manpower export and the garment industry. He made the land fertile by digging canals for farmers. During the previous BNP government, our leader Tarique Rahman started the Kalam Seed Project, later it was closed, we will try to start it. We need to develop domestic animals to become self-sufficient in food. Many times, cattle die for a small vaccine, milk increases after being given deworming medicine, we don’t know why. Now cows are no longer imported, we will be able to export meat abroad at some point. We have a fertilizer problem, if BNP gets the responsibility of running the state, efforts will be made to reduce the price of fertilizer. We must remember that the country will not progress without the economic development of the people of the villages. Therefore, it is necessary to inspire the people and revolutionize the agricultural sector, only then will it be possible to build a truly self-reliant Bangladesh.
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the Ziaur Rahman Foundation’s free veterinary medical camp and fruit and medicinal tree sapling distribution program at the Dashgaon Nawagaon High School and College grounds in Gowainghat Upazila of Sylhet on Saturday morning.
