Female drug dealer held in Ashulia

The Dhaka District North Detective Branch (DB) has arrested a professional drug dealer named Parveen Akhter (47) with ganja from the Bogabari area of Ashulia in Savar.

This information was given by Dhaka District North Detective Branch Officer-in-Charge Md. Jalal Uddin on Monday (September 29) afternoon. Earlier, she was arrested at around 9:30 pm on Sunday from the Bogabari Ambagan Cemetery area of Ashulia.

At that time, 1kg of ganja wrapped in black polythene was recovered from her custody. The arrested Mosa.

Parveen Akhter is the daughter of the deceased Alal Mia of the Bogabari Ambagan Cemetery area of Ashulia.

Detective Branch Officer-in-Charge Md. Jalal Uddin said that a case was registered against professional drug dealer Parveen Akhter, who was arrested along with Gaza, at Ashulia Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act and was sent to court on Monday afternoon.
